Intertextile Shanghai Trends 25/26

The Color Authority designed the color palette for SPOTT Trends for the Autumn edition of Intertextile Textile Fair in Shanghai according to the theme The Healing Home

In the realm of sensorial textile design, colour direction takes centre stage, combining function with emotional impact. Imagine fabrics with healing properties that mimic the warmth of a hug or cool, invigorating textiles that sharpen the mind in the morning. Colour psychology is the main lead, with hues chosen to tap into our feelings and enhance our moods. Uplifting oranges invigorate, relaxing pastels soothe, and focus-enabling greens and blues sharpen concentration. Colours are selected to make us feel good, evoking nostalgia for simpler times and promoting healing. Transitional shades replace dopamine bright with Tyndall colours, creating stunning gradients and transparencies. The tactile and textured nature of these colours enhances their sensory appeal, making each colour a soothing, functional, and visually captivating experience.
